Student Services Team

Pitt County Schools strives to provide optimum teaching and learning conditions for all students through a comprehensive education program (PreK-12). It is recognized that in addition to academic challenges, students are at times faced with a variety of social, developmental, emotional and behavioral issues that may interfere with their educational success. Qualified professional personnel are available to provide preventive, remedial and crisis interventions that support the identification and removal of barriers to learning. Utilizing a team approach, these professionals partner with other educators, parents and the community to support students throughout the educational process. The Student Services Team includes School Counselors, School Social Workers, School Health Case Managers and additional specialized staff. To contact any member of your Student Services Team, please call your school's office.
