SCHOOL ATTENDANCE AREAS POLICY

As the Board solicits input from parents and members of the community, it will be important for those participants to be well informed and understand the parameters by which the Board makes decisions and the policies and principles used to guide those decisions.

The School Attendance Areas Policy, Policy 10.107, is the single most important of these and is considered the local Board of Education’s “law” governing the development and redevelopment of school districts. You can review the entire policy by clicking here.

Annotated with Data and Reports

To assist members of the community in understanding how the Board of Education is guided by the School Attendance Areas Policy in the development of student assignment plans, the policy has been annotated to (1) provide additional information on the policy language, and (2) to provide supplemental reports and charts that the Board will be utilizing in the process.
