    Driver's Ed at the Early College is coordinated by the North Carolina Driving School located in Winterville, NC.  

    This Fall , October 2-17, 2023, ECHS will be offering (to the first 40 students who sign up) Drivers Education Class here at our school (multi-purpose room).
    All payments are made to the Driving School and will be collected the first day of class. 

    ECHS reserves the right to review grades and consult with parents/guardians for any recommendations. Student must be 14 ½ years old before class starts. (ECHS se reserva el derecho de revisar los grados de la escuela secundaria y consultar con padres/guardianes para cualquier recomendación. El estudiante debe tener 14 ½ años antes del primer dia de clase).

    *** NO ABSENCES ALLOWED and Parents will be responsible for transportation*** (*** no se permiten ausencias y padre será responsable para transportación***).

    Note: Effective immediately, any 16- or 17-year-old is eligible for a level 2 license if they have held their level 1 permit for 6 months (not 12 months). Also, effective January 1st 2024 this requirement will move to 9 months permanently.
