Instruction Overview

Most students in Pitt County Schools receive instruction based on the North Carolina Standard Course of Study, which outlines grade-level academic expectations for all learners. For students with the most significant cognitive disabilities, North Carolina’s Extended Content Standards provide guidance for curriculum and instruction designed to meet their unique learning needs
