Adapted Physical Education
Overview:
Adapted Physical Education was established in Pitt County Schools in 2009. The goal of APE in Pitt County Schools is to adapt and modify the North Carolina Healthful Living Standard Course of Study in a way that all students with special needs, regardless of their disability, can participate in Physical Education.
