Division of Educator Effectiveness and Leadership (DEEL)

The Division of Educator Effectiveness and Leadership (DEEL) consists of five Pitt County Schools employees charged with facilitating the R3 (Recruit, Retain, Reward) Program to recruit, retain, and reward excellent educators to ensure success for every child every day.

In addition to overseeing the district's Advanced Teaching Role Program, Restart Program, and Professional Learning program, DEEL is also responsible or the day-to-day operations of The Kathy Taft Center for Excellence and Leadership in Education.
