North Pitt Athletics had a very successful fall season in 2018.
The Volleyball team was yet again Eastern Plains Conference Champions; this was their fifth consecutive year as champion. Team leaders include the 2018 Conference Player of the Year Casandra Watson.
The Boys Soccer Team competed extremely well in a difficult Eastern Plains Conference. They just missed the playoffs this year with an extremely young team with a lot of freshman talent set to return in 2019.
The Boys Cross Country team came in second in the Eastern Plains Conference in 2018, having two runners named as All-Conference. Seven athletes competed in post season events. The Girls Cross Country team rebounded in 2018 as this was the first year they have had a full qualifying squad in several years.
The Football Team took strides this year under new head coach Greg Watford and staff. The future looks bright as we hope to have a stable coaching staff and program moving forward into 2019. Young leadership is strong in this team and will surely factor into the mix as the program looks to improve in 2019.
Cheerleading was able to secure new uniforms this season and made great improvements in its level of competitiveness. Intentions are to attend the 2019 state trials in February.
