• Poetry Out Loud Competition

    We are excited to announce the new Poetry Out Loud Competition.
    Poetry Out Loud is a chance to combine poetry and performance as you compete for cash prizes and national recognition.
    If students are interested in participating, they must meet with Mrs. Wall during Twilight on Tuesday, Nov. 14th to review the rules, go over the format, and begin preparing poems for the competition. 
    Two representatives from our school will compete against representatives from JP2, Innovation, South Central, and Farmville High Schools on December 7th at ECU.

    After an incredible journey through the realms of language and emotion, we are thrilled to unveil the exceptional talents that have graced Mrs. Southworth's room during the 2023 Poetry Out Loud event. Thank you to all who gave an amazing performance and to the judges for giving their time. This year, our school representatives are MiKayla Keyes, Zinala Smith, and Natalie Reid.

     

    The county competition takes place on Dec. 7th at 5:30 in the Brewster Building on ECU's campus.  Come out and support our Wolves!
