Office of Strategic Innovation (OSI)
The Office of Strategic Innovation (OSI) consists of five Pitt County Schools employees charged with facilitating the R3 (Recruit, Retain, Reward) Program to recruit, retain, and reward excellent educators to ensure success for every child every day. All individuals are certified coaches and trainers in multiple programs, such as:
- International Coaching Federation
- International Association of Coaching
- Thinking Collaborative (Cognitive Coaching, Adaptive Schools)
- The Center for Leadership Studies (Situational Leadership)
- The Arbinger Institute (Developing & Implementing an Outward Mindset)
- Crucial Learning (Crucial Conversations, Crucial Accountability, Getting Things Done)
In addition to overseeing the district's Advanced Teaching Role, Teacher Leader Pipeline, Restart, and Professional Learning programs, OSI is housed in and responsible for the day-to-day operations of The Kathy Taft Center for Excellence and Leadership in Education.
