Professional Learning

OSI is responsible to oversee PCS' professional learning program.  OSI maintains a "content agnostic" approach to professionalizing learning, meaning that personnel in the department focus on being experts in professional learning design, deliver, and evaluation, while individual departments throughout the district are responsible for content-specific PL.  As such, OSI staff serve as experts and resources on coaching, collaboration, and adult learning, while personnel in other departments in the district serve as experts on specific content.  

OSI is also responsible to manage Protraxx, the district's Professional Learning Management System (PLMS) and facilitate the development and implementation of the district's Comprehensive Professional Learning Plan.
