Important Announcement: Following a PCS Board vote this evening, all Pitt County Schools will move to 100% virtual learning for two weeks beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, January 12, 2021, and extending through Friday, January 22, 2021. (Reminder: January 25, 2021, is also previously-scheduled virtual Monday.) The Board, PCS Administration, and PCS school staff will continue to monitor the situation closely. Any further decisions regarding instruction after January 25, 2021, will be communicated as quickly as possible.

This week is the Face to Face Learning Week for 6-8 Group A students and the Remote Learning Week for 6-8 Group B students.
Report Cards for 6-8 Group B students went home on Friday. 6-8 Group A students and all K-5 students will receive their Report Cards on Tuesday.
6-8 Group A students received their new 2nd semester schedules electronically this past week. They will receive a hard copy on Tuesday when they return to Face to Face learning.
Both A week and B week Bus Routes have been updated. The new routes are located on our Bus Information page and our Facebook page. All bus riders must return the Bus Rider Attestation Form in order to ride to the bus 2nd semester. Please return the completed form as soon as possible.

Bus Routes (UPDATED 1/7/2021)
Transportation has now been updated for BOTH A and B weeks. These updates include stop times and locations. Routes have been planned by transportation and are in accordance with state and local guidelines. Preliminary parent letters were sent before the break by transportation. This information was generated from PowerSchool. Please contact your child’s teacher or the main office with transportation questions. Families will be given updated bus attestation forms to be completed and brought back to school the following day. Without the updated bus attestation form your child will not be able to ride the bus for the second semester. This information can also be found on our school's Facebook page.

Curbside Meal Order Survey
Below is a google Survey for Curbside Meal Orders. Parents will need to place their child/our student meal order by 3pm Tuesday of each week. The survey will assist the managers in the number to prepare and be more efficient and to help our parents plan their Wednesday of where to get their students meals.

Students with documented dietary meal change needs will be able to pick up meals at 9 of our schools each day starting this Monday, August 31st. The 9 schools are the only schools that will have the food items and preparation equipment to handle the dietary meal modification needs of students on their virtual week or if they are 100% Virtual. They are Ayden Elementary, Belvoir, Farmville Middle, Hope Middle, Sadie Salter, South Central HS, Wellcome, Wahl Coates, and Wintergreen.
