3rd-8th Grade Panorama Student SEL Survey Notification
Social Emotional Learning
As you may already be aware, building our social-emotional learning (SEL) skills is an important goal for our school this year. We will be asking for your child to reflect on their own mindsets and approaches to learning via an online survey they will be completing on Monday, October 19th...remote learning day. The
survey should take about 30 to 40 minutes to complete.
We are asking that all of our students in grades 3rd-8th participate in the surveys. If a student doesn’t feel like they have enough information to answer a question, they will be able to skip the item altogether. The responses to these surveys will be completely confidential.
If parents do not wish for their child to complete the survey, an "opt out" form link is provided on the studen's Canvas page. Thank You!!
NEW Bus Routes - Beginning Oct. 13

These changes also reflect the K-5 students who are coming back full time beginning October 20 and who requested transportation. Please note, there have been many changes to the routes. Bus numbers may have changed. Some students may also have a different bus depending on the week. Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any questions. For the first couple of weeks, please have students out and ready for the bus 20 minutes before the bus is scheduled to be there. This will help with the new times.

Chicod Learning Option Change Form
The PCS BOE has also given each school the flexibility to allow parents to change Learning Options. This flexibility will look different at each individual school. To allow a change to a student’s Learning Option, the school first has to determine if the school can accommodate adding a student while still following Covid-19 Guidelines. Chicod School is currently operating at approximately 74% Face to Face Learners, and 26% Virtual Learners.
To request a change in your child’s Learning Option, please click on the link below and complete the Chicod Learning Option Change Form. Changes will be reviewed based on the date of request and seat availability. In cases where we cannot accommodate a request, the request will be placed on a waiting list.
