Saluting the PCS Class of 2025
Pitt County Schools will complete its Class of 2025 graduation ceremonies this weekend at Minges Coliseum on the campus of East Carolina University. In all, a total of 1,920 students will have earned their diploma during the course of 10 different commencement exercises which began May 22.
PCS's six traditional high schools - J.H. Rose, D.H. Conley, South Central, Farmville Central, Ayden-Grifton and North Pitt - will celebrate its graduates Friday and Saturday. JHR (2 p.m.) and DHC (6 p.m.) will conduct ceremonies Friday, while SC (9 a.m.), FC (12 noon), AG (3 p.m.) and NP (6 p.m.) will follow Saturday.
Students from PCS Early College High School, Innovation Early College High School, Project SEARCH and Pitt Academy already turned their tassels in earlier events on May 22, June 3 and June 4, respectively.
“We commend the Class of 2025 for their perseverance and achievements," PCS Superintendent Dr. Steve M. Lassiter Jr. said. "As we celebrate this milestone, we take pride in knowing their determination and vision has inspired our entire community. We look forward to seeing them shape the future as compassionate, innovative leaders in a world that needs their talents more than ever.”
All PCS graduation ceremonies will be streamed live via the district's YouTube channel. Please visit http://go.pittschools.org/livestream. Video broadcasts will be titled by school once streaming begins. Smart TV and mobile application users need to search for the PCS YouTube channel and look for the titled thumbnail with the "live" icon.
