Ellen Degeneres Show Sponsors Trip to L.A. for South Greenville Class

GREENVILLE - The Ellen Degeneres Show has continued to show interest in and support for South Greenville Elementary School teacher Michael Bonner and his 2nd grade class.  Ellen recently flew the entire class oto Los Angeles to appear on the show and to produce their own "Read It" music video with celebrities from the music and entertainment industry.  The students, Mr. Bonner, principal Mrs. Lakeesha Lynch, and several South Greenville Elementary staff members departed  for Los Angeles on Monday, February 13 and returned on Friday, February 17.  Ellen provided airfare and lodging for the students and chaperoning staff members.  Additionally, Wal-Mart provided the school an additional $20,000 towards the GoFund me page supporting the school that Ellen help start.
