Grow Local, sponsored by the Greenville- Pitt County Chamber of Commerce, is a program to expose Pitt County Schools' middle and high school students to local career paths with hands-on experiences through partnerships with local businesses.

Participants: 2700+ Students from 14 schools

Volunteers: 200+ Volunteers from the Chamber of Commerce, Parents for Public Schools, School Employees and the Community

Details: Each day of the week, different students from school groups will be bussed to various businesses for a 2-4 hour hands-on experience with the local business.

Best photo overall: School class or group will receive a MEAL on us! At one of your next meetings or gatherings, we will provide breakfast, lunch, pizza party or comparable prize for your group. Details will be arranged with your class sponsor or teacher and school.
