2022 Game Results and Scores

 

October 27

The volleyball team defeated Chicod in their 1st match of the tournament 25-8,25-11. Eziyah Strong had 10 service points and Caroline Bayes added 7. The win advanced the team to the tournament final where they matched up with AG Cox for the 4th time this season.


It was a great match and the Mustangs won 25-20,25-16 to win the tournament championship. Brooklyn Smith had 12 service points including the last 8 points of the 2nd game. It took a total team effort to get the win. 
 
The team completed an undefeated season 15-0 with a conference championship and tournament championship. This is the 2nd season in a row that the team has been undefeated with conference and tournament championships. The 8th graders finished their careers with a 30-0 record and didn't lose a set either season. A great accomplishment for them.

 

October 24

Congratulations to the volleyball teams on their victories over PS Jones yesterday. The A team won 25-11,25-9. Caroline Bayes had 11 service points while Madison Long added 9 and Kallie Stone had 8. 

 
The B team won 25-11,25-13. Rayne Knittle had 11 service points while Jamysen Howard added 10 and Claudia Edwards had 7.
 
The victories completed an undefeated regular season for both the A and B teams and 1st place in the conference. The team looks to finish the season with a tournament championship. They play Chicod at 5:15pm at GR Whitfield on Thursday in the semi-finals of the tournament. If they are fortunate to win that match, they will play the winner from the 4pm match, either GR Whitfield or AG Cox at 6:30pm.

 

October 19

Congratulations to the volleyball team on their victories yesterday against AG Cox. The A team won 25-11,25-21. Brooklyn Smith led the team with 8 service points and Faith Mitchum added 7 service points. The team was led at the net by Madison Long, Eziyah Strong,Jamysen Howard,Linda Smith and Ava Brann. Kallie Stone,Faith Mitchum and Caroline Bayes did a great job handling the passing and setting. The victory clinched 1st place in the conference. 

 
The B team won 25-23,25-16. Ginny Graham led the team with 9 service points while Rayne Knittle added 8 service points.
 
The teams play their final regular season game on Monday against PS Jones at home. Come out and support them on Monday.

 

October 17

Congratulations to the volleyball team for their victory against EB Aycock yesterday 25-8,25-22. Caroline Bayes led the team with 13 service points and Ava Brann added 7 service points. There was no B match yesterday.

 
The team travels to AG Cox on Wednesday for a big conference game.

 

October 12

Congratulations to the volleyball team on their victories yesterday against C M Eppes. The A team won 25-4,25-10.Brooklyn Smith led the team with 17 service points.

 
The B team won 25-7,25-8. Ava Brann had 10 service points and Carter Loch added 8 service points.
 
Both teams are 10-0 on the season and return to action on Monday at home against EB Aycock.

 

October 10

Congratulations to the volleyball teams on their victories against Farmville yesterday. The A team won 25-10,25-13. Madison Long led the team with 13 service points while Marley Vestal added 6.

The B team won 25-2,25-12. Ginny Graham had 17 service points while Claudia Edwards added 12 service points.
 
Both teams are now 9-0 and they travel to CM Eppes on Wednesday.

 

October 5

Congratulations to the volleyball team on their victories over PS Jones yesterday. The A team won 25-2,25-11. Madison Long had 22 service points and Ava Brann added 5. 

 
The B team won 25-11,25-7. Tori Morrisey had 12 service points while Ginny Graham and Piper Schiller added 11 service points each.
 
Both teams are 8-0 on the season and they return to play at home against Farmville on Monday.

 

October 3

Congratulations to the volleyball team on their victories over AG Cox yesterday. The A team won 25-23,25-15. They are led by Madison Long with 14 service points and Marley Vestal with 7 service points. 

The B team won 25-7,25-14. Ginny Graham had 15 service points while Kellynn Hill and Piper Schiller added 4 each. 
 
Both teams are 7-0 on the season. They will travel to PS Jones on Wednesday.

 

September 28

Congratulations to the volleyball team on their victories against EB Aycock yesterday. The A team won 25-9,25-8. The team was led by Caroline Bayes with 13 service points, Madison Long with 9 service points and Linda Smith and Ava Brann added 5 each. 

The B team won 25-8,25-10. Jamysen Howard had 11 service points and Tori Morrisey added 10 service points. 
 
Both teams are now 6-0 on the season. The team has a Big home match on Monday against AG Cox. Come out and cheer on the team on Monday.

 

September 21

Congratulations to the Volleyball team on their victories yesterday against Farmville. The A team won 25-9,25-8. Caroline Bayes had 17 service points with 15 in a row to start game 2 and Marley Vestal added 7 service points. 

The B team won 25-6,25-20. Tori Morrisey had 22 total service points with 18 in a row to start the 1st game. Rayne Knittle added 6 service points. 
 
Both teams are 4-0 on the season and 1-0 in the conference. They play Eppes at home on Monday.

 

September 19

Congratulations to the volleyball team on their victories over Ayden yesterday. The A team won 25-9,25-8. Madison Long had 13 service points and Addison Ferebee added 7 service points.

The B team won 25-8,25-5. Ginny Graham had 15 service points and Kassie Stone added 9 service points. 
 
Both teams are now 3-0 on the season and they travel to Farmville on Wednesday.

 

September 14

Congratulations to the volleyball team on their victories yesterday in a non conference match against AG Cox. The A team won 25-10,25-15. Kallie Stone had 13 service points while Addison Ferebee added 9 service points. 

 
The B team won 25-15,25-6. Tori Morrisey had 12 service points and Kassie Stone added 8 service points.
 
The teams are now 2-0 on the season and play again at home on Monday against Ayden.
