Creekside offers chorus to any 5th grade student who loves to sing and wants to work to become a better singer.  Chorus meets once per week during the school day in the music room.  The chorus performs two concerts per year, one in December and one in May. When there is an event that requires a group to perform, the 5th grade chorus is the group that answers that call!  We have performed for Barnes & Noble School Spirit Night and the South Central Attendance Area Arts Festival.

 

Every year the Pitt County Schools music teachers hold an All County Elementary Choral Festival.  Each music teacher in the county chooses 5-7 outstanding singers. These students work for months to learn music for the concert.  In March all of the students are put together for an amazing concert by approximately 100-120 of the best 5th grade voices in the county.
