The following is a list of upcoming volunteer opportunities that have been approved for our HSA students.  To register, please reply to the contact name listed for each event.

NOTE:  Please wear your HSA volunteer t-shirt when you volunteer for any of these events, and be sure to take your log sheet with you for your volunteer supervisor to sign off on your hours.

If you have not previously received a volunteer shirt, please contact Mrs. Hardin in the HSA Office @ 830-4257 immediately upon your registration for an event so that she will have ample time to get a shirt to you.
The Three Rs Afterschool Program/Offering Tutoring Services in Math & Reading for students of South Greenville Elementary School

STOP HUNGER NOW Meal Packing Event
Jarvis Memorial United Methodist Church, 510 S. Washington Street, Greenville
Sunday, November 16th
Volunteer Time Slot:  2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Need up to 100 volunteers (students and/or adults) to help with meal packing event to provide nutritious meals to be shipped to third world schools and feeding centers.
Stop Hunger Now is an international hunger relief organization that coordinates the distribution of food and other life-saving aid around the world with a vision of ending hunger in our lifetime.  The meal packing program allows volunteers the opportunity to package dehydrated, high-protein, nutritious meals to be used worldwide in both crisis situations and feeding programs for schools and orphanages in developing countries.

Volunteer Hours Log Sheet:
Attached is the new Volunteer Hours Log Sheet for the 2014-2015 school year.  Please make sure that all signatures and phone numbers are listed before submitting the form.  Forms can be submitted throughout the year.  It is recommended that you submit your log sheets as soon as possible in order to prevent missing the deadline and/or losing the sheets.  The deadline for submission is Wednesday, April 1, 2015 @ 5:00 p.m.  You may mail the log sheets to the HSA Office @ 1717 W. 5th Street, Greenville, NC  27834 or fax them to us @ 252-830-4270.

Attached is the updated Preapproved List of Volunteer Agencies.  This list is updated frequently, so please keep a watchful eye on this page for new updates.  If you desire to volunteer at an agency that is not shown on this list, please contact our office for approval prior to doing volunteer service hours so that we can approve the location for you.  You can call our office at 252-830-4257.
