E B Aycock Middle School is participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Pasta for Pennies program in an effort to raise money to help blood cancer patients. Our goal is to raise $1,500.

We had 36 students compete in the Pitt County 4 - H Favorite Food Show Cooking Competition last night, March 14th!!! Students competed in the categories of Entree, Side Dish, Appetizer, and Dessert. The following 1st Place Winners from each category received a scholarship to the NC 4-H Healthy Living Summit and have the opportunity to compete in the state cooking competition. Congratulations to our winners!!!!!

Jarrett earned the highest honor possible for the state of North Carolina. He not only made the top band in North Carolina he made the first chair and is the number one euphonium player in the state of North Carolina for Middle School bands!!!! This is truly an honor! He is now the number one ranking euphonium player in the North Carolina All-State honors band!! We are so proud of Jarrett!!
On March 6th, 4 teams of students from E.B. Aycock competed at the Day of Knowledge Explosion in Windsor, NC. Out of 25 teams at the competition, Aycock took 1st place, 3rd, place, and fifth place. We received several compliments on our students' attitude and behavior. Congratulations to everyone who competed and represented E.B. Aycock as a wonderful Middle School!!!!!

Congratulations to our Cheerleading Squad and Ms. Hulsey!!!!! They won 1st place for the non-tumble division at the Annual Pitt County Schools Competition on Tuesday night!!!! Way to go Team!!!
A Health and Science Career Fair was held in the media center Friday, January 20th! All 7th graders and some 6th graders visited the fair and learned about a variety of jobs in the Science and Health fields. We want to thank all of our presenters for sharing their knowledge and expertise with our students and to Ms. Bullock for organizing this for us!
