  • Twilight sign up emails have been sent: Please make sure your club is meeting
    before signing up. Sign up ends Friday morning @ 10:00am


    Delta Gems: Due to unforeseen circumstances we will
    have cancel our session this weekend. We will contact you soon regarding the date/time/location for the
    November meeting. We hope that your school year is going well. Let us know if we can help you with

    The following SGA committees are meeting this week during homeroom:  the SGA Event committee will be meeting
    during homeroom in the cafeteria to discuss the fall festival. Please be on time.  The SGA . The Spirit committee will be
    meeting Friday morning in the cafeteria to discuss Spirit week.  . Finally, the Junior SGA will meet next Tuesday after
    school during Twilight.

     

    Fancloth Spirit wear fundraiser – orders will be accepted through Oct.17 th. Students were emailed a scanned copy of the flyer. Orders may be
    submitted only or through payment to the front office.


    Girl's Coding Club will be Oct 18th 


    Compassion Knits knitting club begins Oct. 17th . Sign up in the multipurpose room so we can know what materials to get. See Ms. Bradley with questions.

     

    PCSECHS SGA is proud to sponsor Socktober! Socktober is a movement that gives back to the community by
    donating pairs of new socks to the homeless.  Socks are the least donated item of clothing to shelters, yet the most
    needed for the winter months. Students, you can place your brand new unopened socks in the donation box located in
    your homeroom teacher's classroom.  The homeroom with the most socks by October 31st will receive breakfast
    furnished by the SGA!  Additionally, each Wednesday during the month of Octber, SGA asks all students to participate
    in crazy sock day to help raise awareness for this cause. The crazier the socks, the better!

    Student Scholarship Essay Contest - Juniors and Seniors, enter for a chance to win a $1,000 Scholarship! Write an essay on Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl by April 12th. See Mrs. Wall for more details or visit www.penguin.com/scessay Student Scholarship Essay Contest


    Scholastic Publishing Student Poetry Contest - $500 for first place, other prizes range from $25-$150. Schools with the highest participation level wins a new computer. Students may submit only one original poem on any subject, of no less than 2 lines and no more than 20, in any form other than concrete or blackout. Deadline is November 2nd.     Quiz Bowl will meet Mondays from 4-4:30 in Mr. Stilley's room. Mr. Stilley will be emailing the team a calendar of
    meeting dates, so be sure to to check your email to see if when you have to stay.


    Advanced Manufacturing Day - Friday November 17th at PCC - 20-40 ECHS students will be able to attend with other area high school students. More information coming next week. The targeted population is students who are interested in CIT programs.
