• The goal of the Multi-Tiered System of Support(MTSS) is to ensure that all students receive a quality education that supports each of them where they are in order to meet their academic, social, and emotional needs.  PCS Early College High School’s Problem Solving Team serves to enable the school to implement MTSS with fidelity in service to our students.  The Problem Solving Team consists of educators in our school building who support other educators in providing a framework for assessing student academic progress.

Duties of the Problem-Solving Team (PST) include:

    ● Assist teachers in providing individualized instruction to meet the needs of all students

    ● Assist in developing intervention strategies to be used by teachers

    ● Meet regularly to monitor and review student progress

    ● Monitor, collect data, and evaluate the efficacy of intervention strategies

    ● Provide an efficient data analysis of students’ response to intervention

    ● Promote a constructive, problem-solving process among teachers

    ● Increase teacher skills in differentiating instruction and working with academic and behavioral issues of all students
