FBLA will have a meeting on TODAY after school. Please bring items for the sock tree and for the family we are sponsoring.
FBLA sock fest is here! Have you noticed the ugly tree in the front office? Please bring a new pair of stretchy, festive Christmas socks to hang on our tree. All socks will be donated to the local nursing home.
Color guard will have an interest meeting on 12/18 until 4:30. Anyone interested in joining should attend this meeting.
Today is the last day to do attendance make up before exams. Attendance make up sessions will resume on exam days. We will have make up sessions each day after exams until 3:35. Please see Mrs. Heath with any questions.
11th and 12th graders: We have a new course being offered in the spring called Agriscience Applications. It's a course that will focus on connecting science and agriculture. If you have an interest in taking this course, please come sign up in student services and it can potentially be added to your schedule.
Attention sophomores and juniors: Do you have an interest in being a veterinarian? Come see Ms. Goodman in student services to learn more about a summer vet camp with the University of Georgia.
Yearbooks will be on sale for $50 until Christmas break. The price will go up after the break. A $20 deposit can be put down. Senior baby pictures and senior portraits are due by December 20th.
SAVE annual stuffed animal drive begins today through December 18th. Pleasee bring a NEW stuffed animal to Mr. Woodard's room 808 and place it in the box. The stuffed animals will be given to th children at Vidant Children's Hospital to brighten their Christmas. SAVE members need to bring at least 1 stuffed animal.
SGA will be hosting a Sadie Hawkins dance on Saturday, December 16th from 8:00-10:00 pm at Farmville Central Cafeteria. Tickets are available for $10. They may be purchased at the door or come by Ms. Tetterton's room 807.
You can win breakfast for your first period class. SGA is hosting a canned food drive. Bring canned goods to your first period class between now and December 15th. The first period class with the most donations wins breakfast.
Tutoring will take place after school on Monday: Science- room 808; Tuesday: English- room 302; Wednesday: Math- room 802; Thursday: Social Studies: room 401B.
Twilight and Twilight Mastery Lab will take place Monday - Thursday after school from 3:45 - 5:45 pm. Transportation is available. Twilight will take place in the following locations: Monday - Mr. Scuron Room 812; Tuesday - Mrs. Kirk Room 802; Wednesday - Mr. Scuron Room 812; Thursday - Mrs. Kirk Room 802.
Make Up Sessions: Any student that has missed over 7 days in any class - no matter the circumstance- must make up the time missed in order to receive credit for the class. Make up sessions with Ms. Best are in the media center every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 3:45 until 5:45 pm. Transportation is available, if needed. Completed assignment logs are required in order for students to be admitted. Please see Ms. Heath with any questions.
Attendance waivers are now available in student services. Attendance waivers are needed for any student who has missed more than 7 days for any reason: doctor's appointment, suspension, etc. Attendance waivers are due back to Mrs. Heath by January 17, 2017. See Mrs. Heath with any questions.
