Congratulations to the Jaguar Softball Team as they swept a Double Header last night. The Jags won the 1st Game vs Eastern Wayne 18-8 in the 6th Inning. Laterika Cratch had the game winning hit. Then the Jags beat North Pitt 16-1 in the 6th Inning. The winning pitcher for both games was Abby Foster. The Jags return to action at North Pitt on Friday.

Seniors: Please check your email and scholarship spreadsheet for the following scholarships: Farmville Kiwanis and the Eppes packet of scholarships. These are due by the end of next week. See Mr. Lewis if you need help.
Students that took AP Environmental during the fall need to pick up an AP review book and textbook from room 808.
FCHS JV and Varsity cheerleading tryouts will be May 17th, 18th and 19th from 4:00 to 6:30. All 3 days are mandatory. Please wear practice appropriate clothing. You must have a current physical to try out. There are flyers posted with all information regarding tryouts. Contact Coach Jessica James with any questions.
If you are interested in taking an online course during the 2017-18 school year, due to limited space - online applications are due to student services no later than Friday, April 28th. See someone in student services if you have any questions.
Make up sessions: Any student that has missed over 10 days in any class - no matter the circumstance- must make up the time missed in order to receive credit for the class. Make up sessions with Ms. Best are in the Media Center beginning at 3:45 pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Students may pick up an assignment log in Student Services. Students will NOT be admitted into the makeup session without a completed log.
Any student that has missed 10 or more days for any given reason, must complete an attendance waiver. Attendance waivers are now available in Student Services. Waivers are due to Mrs. Heath by Friday, May 19, 2017. Please see Mrs. Heath with any questions.
Spring tutoring will be held after school in the following locations: Monday- Science room 808; Tuesday - English room 302; Wednesday - Math room 801; Thursday - Social Studies room 402.
SAVE THE DATE: Prom 2017 is Saturday, May 6th from 8:00 - 11:00 pm at the Farmville Country Club. Prices are as follows: Seniors: $35, Juniors: $40, Guests: $40. Prom ticket prices include 2 (5x7) pictures of you and your guest. Gifts are available to the first 200 senior and junior tickets sold. All school fees should be paid before you can purchase your prom ticket. See Mrs. Heath in Student Services to purchase your tickets and to get a guest application.
If you are planning to rent a tux for the prom, come to Student Services to get a coupon. They have coupons for tuxedo rentals. If you plan to rent a tux and buy a wrist corsage, you can get a boutonniere free. Farmville Flower Basket will also donate $15 to Farmville Relay for Life. See Mrs. Heath with any questions.
Twilight will run throughout the semester every Monday-Thursday after school from 3:45-5:45 pm. Transportation will be provided. Students will meet in room 812 (Mr. Scuron’s room). If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Taylor, Mr. Scuron or Ms. Goodman.
