All College and Career Promise paperwork for taking a class at Pitt Community College this summer or fall is due to Mrs. Jones by Monday, March 27th.
Need a free prom dress? Salvation Army of Greenville is giving away free prom dresses this Saturday, March 25th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Location: Salvation Army of Greenville, NC, 2337 Dickinson Ave, Greenville, NC 27834. The event will be held in the Fellowship Hall! See Mrs. Heath with any questions!
Fall and Winter Sports Awards will be Wednesday, March 29th at 7:00 pm in the gym. All athletes are encouraged to attend.
Attention all seniors: The Farmville Kiwanis Scholarship and NC Farm Bureau Scholarship are now posted on the scholarship spreadsheet. The applications are available online and all requirements listed. Please regularly check your email for new scholarship opportunities as well as the spreadsheet on the Farmville Central, Pitt County Schools website.
A limited number of pre-ordered yearbooks are on sale now for $60. A $20 deposit may be put down.
Any senior who has a 2.5 GPA or higher and has been accepted to one of the 16 UNC system institutions, please see Mr. Lewis to see if you qualify for the NC State Employees "People Helping People" scholarship.
Any 10th and 11th graders who are interested in taking welding classes at FCHS during the 2017-18 school year, please see a counselor to request the class.
Any student that has registered for yearbook next year needs to see Coach Jones to pick up an application due on April 1st.
Any student that has registered for library media asssitant for next year, you will need to pick up an application from Mrs. Monroe due April 1st.

ECU Stem Day field trip is on Friday, April 7th. Interested juniors, please see Mr. Woodard in room 808 for details and forms. Science, technology, engineering and math sessions will be held along with a campus tour. Lunch is provided. Space is limited to 15.
Barnes and Noble receipts can be turned in to the media center any time during the month of March so that the school can receive credit for purchases made.
Make up sessions: Any student that has missed over 10 days in any class - no matter the circumstance- must make up the time missed in order to receive credit for the class. Make up sessions with Ms. Best are in the Media Center beginning at 3:45 pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Students may pick up an assignment log in Student Services. Students will NOT be admitted into the makeup session without a completed log.
Spring tutoring will be held after school in the following locations: Monday- Science room 808; Tuesday - English room 302; Wednesday - Math room 801; Thursday - Social Studies room 402.
SAVE the DATE: Prom 2017 is Saturday, May 6th from 8:00 - 11:00 pm at the Farmville Country Club. Prices are as follows... Seniors: $35, Juniors: $40, Guest: $40. Prom ticket prices include 2 (5x7) pictures of you and your guest. Tickets are on sale until the week of the prom. Prices will increase in April. Gifts are available to the first 200 senior and junior tickets sold. All school fees should be paid before you can purchase your prom ticket. See Mrs. Heath in Student Services to purchase your tickets and to get a guest application.
If you are planning to rent a tux for the prom, come to Student Services to get a coupon. They have coupons for tuxedo rentals. If you plan to rent a tux and buy a wrist corsage, you can get a boutonniere free. Farmville Flower Basket will also donate $15 to Farmville Relay for Life. See Mrs. Heath with any questions.
Twilight will run throughout the semester every Monday-Thursday after school from 3:45-5:45 pm. Transportation will be provided. Students will meet in room 812 (Mr. Scuron’s room). If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Taylor, Mr. Scuron or Ms. Goodman.
