Mr. Trevor Darden

Hello! My name is Trevor Darden, and I am pleased to be a member of the E. B. Aycock Middle School community. I began my educational journey at D. H. Conley High School, where I taught social studies and have accumulated nearly ten years of experience in the field. My teaching passions include American History, Civics and Economics, and African American Studies.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a Bachelor of Science in History Education. Additionally, I earned a Master of Divinity degree from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia, along with a Master’s degree in School Administration from East Carolina University through the North Carolina Principal Fellows program. I am advancing my education by pursuing a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership at UNC-Chapel Hill.

In my personal time, I am committed to serving my church and community, driven by a passion for community service and a desire to help others. I am also a proud member of the "Iconic" Iota Nu Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. During my middle school years at Central Middle School (Gates, NC), I was actively involved in the marching band, football, and student leadership activities. I enjoy working out, spending time with friends and family, and constantly seeking new knowledge.
