    Student Device Survey
This year, Pitt County Schools (PCS) will begin a 1:1 Device Initiative. This will allow each K-12 student in the district to use a PCS device if they choose. These devices will be the property of PCS, but students will get to use them at home and at school. Students and Parent/Guardians will sign a Student Device Agreement before receiving their device.

Because many school districts across the country are utilizing remote learning, there is an increased demand for student devices. We have ordered an additional 6,000 devices so that every PCS student can have one, but they will not arrive before the beginning of the school year.

We will be deploying the devices we currently have at the beginning of the year, but we will need to give priority in deploying those devices to students who do not have a personal device available.

If your family has a personal device available for your student to use, we would ask you to please allow your student to use that device until our new devices arrive. Your student can be assigned a PCS device once the new ones arrive, or they can continue to use their personal device if you choose.

Please respond to this survey by August 6, 2020 so we can accurately plan device distribution for your child and the other PCS students. You will need to reply separately for each of your students.
