Students interested in trying out for a winter sport must meet all eligibility requirements, including having the Pitt County Schools physical paperwork on file with the Athletic Director before they can participate in any athletic activities.

1/11/2021 Update: The Pitt County Middle School Athletic Conference will NOT have a basketball season this school year due to changes in the pandemic.
2020-2021 TRYOUT DATES:
Basketball tryouts will be this Thursday and Friday, January 7th and 8th. Students should be in attendance for both try out days.Girls tryouts will be immediately after school from 1:45-2:45. Any girls who are interested in trying out that are not in face-to-face learning this week should report to the gym at 1:30 to begin the screening process. Tryouts will end at 2:45 and anyone trying out should have their rides on campus promptly at 2:45.Boys tryouts will be from 2:45-3:45. Any boys who are interested in trying out that are not in face-to-face learning this week should report to Mr. Dudley's room at 2:30 to begin the screening process.Tryouts will end at 3:45 and anyone trying out should have their rides on campus promptly at 3:45.The screening process for both girls and boys will include a temperature check and the same questions you are asked when you come to school each day. If you have a high temperature or cannot answer "no" to any of these questions, you should not come to tryouts.Finally, anyone who filled out the Google Form in December signing up for tryouts has been given info on what is needed before they are able to try out. Any students who did not fill out that form but are interested in trying out, should email Coach Signorelli immediately to see what paperwork is needed from them.
