Director of Bands, Orchestra, and General Music

Hannah Schwendiman is entering her second year as a music educator. She graduated in 2015 from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. She is a clarinetist and studied with Dr. Anthony Taylor and Dr. Cat Hock. At UNCG, she was a member of both University and Symphonic Bands, as well as performing in chamber ensembles and clarinet ensembles. She was a member of Mu Phi Epsilon and was the treasurer and vice president.

Ms. Schwendiman's favorite thing about teaching music is watching how the students grow from the beginning of the year to the end of the year and even from starting a piece to the concert performance.
