• Students who are eligible for NHS membership must have a minimum 3.55 weighted GPA. Current members' GPAs are checked at the end of each semester to maintain membership. 
    • All events and notifications are sent out via Canvas Announcements. Students are given the link to join this Canvas course as part of their induction materials. If he/she does not join, he/she will miss out on ALL announcements and service opportunities.  
    • Students are responsible for submitting their forms or receipts to the appropriate Canvas assignment for all volunteer opportunities. 
    • NHS Advisor records all students' service hours/points in a spreadsheet. This is updated monthly. 
    • Students have access to the points spreadsheet via the Canvas course homepage where students can check as often as possible
