PBIS: Positive Behavior Intervention & Support
PBIS is a process for creating safe and more effective schools. It focuses on improving a school’s ability to teach and support positive behavior for all students. This includes implementing school-wide procedures and processes for systematic problem-solving, planning, and evaluation. PBIS is not a packaged curriculum, scripted intervention, or manualized strategy. It supports the success of all students.
At Creekside, students show positive behavior by following our four Cardinal Rules:
1. Be prepared.
2. Be respectful.
3. Be responsible.
4. Be a learner.
Students who show positive behaviors will be rewarded in a variety of ways throughout the year.
