A School Improvement Team is a group of teachers, administrators, and parents who work together to improve the overall quality of the school and its programs. Each school in Pitt County has a School Improvement Team (SIT) that develops the School Improvement Plan (SIP). This plan identifies the school’s efforts to improve student performance and reach the educational goals of the school, county, and school board.
