Welcome to the Media Center

  • January 2023

Thanks to the leadership of our superintendent, Dr. Lenker, our schools have received $1.9 million dollars to purchase library books in an initiative called The Big Library Project.  Click here to view the file of  the proposed purchase list.  These books have been carefully chosen and will be reviewed by our school Media & Technology Advisory Committee as well as by the PCS Board of Education before purchasing.   If you would like to offer feedback on this list, please click here to complete a feedback form.

With over 15,000 items in our collection, the Creekside Media Center offers students a wealth of information through books and technology.  Through Media Center programming, students learn digital literacy, information literacy, and language arts skills.

Book fairs, author visits, family events, and special programs are all designed to foster a lifelong love of learning for our students.  Some events and programs offered through the Media Center include Battle of the Books, MakerSpace, Student Advisory Group, Hour of Code, and the School Spelling Bee.
