SAVE the DATE: Prom 2017 is Saturday, May 6th from 8:00 - 11:00 pm at the Farmville Country Club. Prices are as follows... Seniors: $35, Juniors: $40, Guest: $40. Prom ticket prices include 2 (5x7) pictures of you and your guest. Tickets go on sale on Monday, February 20, 2017 and run until the week of the prom. Prices will increase in April. Gifts are available to the first 200 senior and junior tickets sold. All school fees should be paid before you can purchase your prom ticket. There will be a prom committee meeting on Wednesday, February 22nd at 3:40 in room 401-A. Anyone interested in prom decorations and planning should attend.
Attention Sophomores: NC State is conducting a five day STEM outreach and leadership development program hosted at NC State on May 13th -17th. Students will be exposed to a wide range of science and technology resources while exploring future educational and career opportunities. Applications are due by March 10th and require letters of recommendation, a personal statement and several short answer questions. Please come sign up in Student Services to receive more information and an email with more details will be sent. See Ms. Goodman for further questions.
Attention rising seniors: Do you have an interest in having a career in the agriculture industry? There is a free summer program at NC A&T and/or NC State during June 11 - June 16 that exposes students to the plethora of career options in the industry. See Ms. Goodman in student services for an application and more information.
A Time for Science Expo will take place on Saturday, March 11th at 729 Dickinson Avenue, Greenville, NC. The event runs from 10 am to 3 pm. Admission is free. Forty exhibitors will have interactive, hands on science activities for all participants.
Twilight will run throughout the semester every Monday-Thursday after school from 3:45-5:45 pm. Transportation will be provided. Students will meet in room 812 (Mr. Scuron’s room). If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Taylor, Mr. Scuron or Ms. Goodman.
