Battle of the Books is a 4th and 5th grade reading competition. Elementary schools in Pitt County participate in a “quiz bowl” style tournament that tests students’ knowledge of a list of books.  The competition is usually around the end of February. There are 15 books on next year’s list.  Our team can only be up to 12 students. If your child is interested, they can go ahead and get a head start. Tryouts will be in the Fall.
