Positive Behavior Intervention and Support

Hope Middle School has implemented the use of Positive Behavior Interventions and Support system (PBIS). Teachers and staff encourage positive behavior and will teach the expectations for appropriate behavior in various school settings.

Expectations include:

Highest expectations, On time, on task, Prepared to learn, and Encourage excellence

Various opportunities to recognize and/or reward students who follow the expectations will include:

• Weekly Positive Referrals - Magnificent Mustangs
• Monthly Pop Days - reward like lollipops, popcorn, popsicles, electronic time, etc.
• Nine Week Rewards (Homework Pass and Sit with a Friend at Lunch Pass)
• Subs for Subs
• Semester Rewards
