Hope Middle School Athletics
2020 Hope Athletic Announcements
PCMSAC 2020-2021 UPDATE
PCMSAC has made a tentative decision to begin Middle School Athletics in January of 2021. This decision is still pending Board of Education and Superintendent approval. Unfortunately, due to a variety of circumstances, some sports normally offered may not be offered in the 2020-2021 school year. This is still a very fluid situation and plans could change based on the pandemic and COVID-19 restrictions. Please continue to check this website for updates as more information becomes available.
ELIGIBILITY FOR JANUARY START DATE
In order to be eligible for athletics beginning in January, a student must pass 5 out of 6 classes during the first semester with a 60, or above. It is important that both face-to-face and virtual students complete all assignments for all core classes, as well as their encore classes. See the link below for all eligibility requirements.
If PCS still offers a virtual option during the second semester, virtual students can still participate in athletics as long as they are enrolled in the school and are academically eligible. Virtual students and those that are not face-to-face during a given week, must provide their own transportation to attend daily practices.
