I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Education in 2006 and from Appalachian State University with a Master of Arts degree in Online Learning and Professional Development in 2018. My learning journey is currently continuing through the Pitt County Schools Teacher Leadership institute. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching English since 2007, first at South Central High School in Winterville, NC, then at Southside High School in Chocowinity, NC, and finally at Pitt County Schools Early College High School. Language is a magical thing, and it brings me great joy to share this magic with students.
