My philosophy as a School Counselor is that we are to never give up on a child.  In my 18 years as a school counselor, I have seen many students rise above challenging circumstances and still become successful.  As a first generation college going student myself, I have the privilege of serving similar students, their families, and the staff at Pitt County Schools Early College High School.  I hail from Harlem, New York where I lived until 2006 when I moved to North Carolina.  I received my Bachelors degree from the University of Pennsylvania and both of my advanced degrees from New York University focusing on Secondary School Counseling.  It is a pleasure to be able to say that I truly love my job!
