  • Senior Yearbook Ads

    Senior Parents: IECHS seniors will have the opportunity to have a senior ad placed inside the yearbook. This ad would be designed by you or your student. The prices per size will be $75 for a whole page, $50 for a half a page, and $25 for a quarter of a page. If you are interested in purchasing an ad please contact Ms. Putney.

    Mary Rose Mills-Linda Rankin Memorial Scholarship  

    The Mary Rose Mills-Linda Rankin Memorial Scholarship is open to any student who is currently graduating from an accredited public high school in North Carolina and who expects to enroll in a four-year college or university next fall. Specific eligibility requirements are: Academic rank in top 10% of class, Minimum SAT score of 1290 or ACT composite score of 27, good character and participation in extra-curricular activities (school and community). Financial need is not the primary consideration.

     Clare Johnson Marley-Mary Earle Berger Fine Arts Scholarship  

    The Clare Johnson Marley-Mary Earle Berger Fine Arts Scholarship is open to any student who is currently graduating from an accredited public high school in North Carolina and who expects to enroll in a four-year college or university next fall, and who is declaring as his/her major in an area of the fine arts. Specific eligibility requirements are: Academic rank in top 20% of class, Minimum SAT score of 1220 or ACT composite score of 25, good character and participation in extra-curricular activities (school and community). Financial need is not the primary consideration. (Samples of talent are required to be submitted with the application.)

    The Eunice Riggins Memorial Scholarship is open to any young woman who is currently graduating from an accredited public high school in North Carolina and who expects to enroll in a four-year college or university in North Carolina next fall. Specific eligibility requirements are: Academic rank in top 10% of class, Minimum SAT score of 1220 or ACT composite score of 25, good character and participation in extra-curricular activities (school and community). Financial need is not the primary consideration.

    ADK Scholarship Requirements

     North Carolina Alpha Delta Kappa Student Achievement Scholarship

    the North Carolina Alpha Delta Kappa Student Achievement Scholarship.  It is also for $2000 and is open to a male or female, on track to graduate and planning to attend a 2-year or 4-year college or university.  Specific eligibility requirements are:  SAT score of 990 to 1130 or ACT composite score of 20 to 24; unweighted GPA of 2.5 to 3.5; good character, integrity, leadership potential and service to school, community and church.  Students should apply for this scholarship through the North Carolina Community Foundation at https://www.nccommunityfoundation.org/ . A flyer with further information on this scholarship is attached at the bottom of this email.Students wishing to apply should check the NCCF website and watch for the updated application, usually in January. Then follow the NCCF guidelines to apply only through their online application portal. No printed or emailed applications will be accepted.

    Opportunity Scholarship: This scholarship is worth up to $80,000. Applications close on January 31, 2023.

    National Scholarship: This scholarship is worth up to $39,000. Applications close on February 28, 2023.

    Ausmus G. Wells Scholarship - Opens October 20 - Deadline - March 13, 2023

    If you are planning to attend East Carolina University, this may be the scholarship for you. Please apply early. 

    Applications will be accepted starting on October 20, 2022 and ending on March 13, 2023. Scholarship candidates can apply online at www.csascholars.org/.  Scholarships will be announced on or about May 2023.
