I am originally from Rocky Mount and graduated from Northern Nash High School.  I was an EC Scholar at East Carolina University and earned my bachelor's degree in mathematics education and mathematics.  I also studied abroad in Manchester, England where I met my husband, James.  After college, I received my masters of education from The University of Georgia.  I have been teaching for five years and have taught at D.H. Conley HS, Nash-Rocky Mount ECHS, and PCSECHS.  I enjoy watching movies, reading novels, travelling, doing challenging math problems, and 3D printing stuff.
