Hello! My name is Shannon Zarnesky, and I just moved to Pitt County from a small town about an hour outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This is my 5th year teaching and my 1st year at Pitt County Schools Early College High School. I received my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Social Studies Education with a concentration in History from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2014, and my Master's degree in Secondary Education in 2019. Before moving to North Carolina, I taught World History, American History 1920-Present, and Government and Economics. I am beyond excited to be a part of Pitt County Schools Early College High School!
