Public Expression
Beginning August 2, 2021, the Board is resuming in-person meetings following a year of COVID-19 restrictions and will also resume in-person public expression. Public expression submitted to publicexpression@pittschools.org will no longer be read by the Public Information Officer in Board Meetings. Instead, members of the public must now attend the Board meeting to offer public expression and must complete and submit a public expression form to a basket that will be placed outside of the Board meeting. Blank forms will be available 30 minutes prior to the meeting but may also be printed and filled out prior to the meeting. The form may be accessed at HERE.
Members of the public are strongly encouraged to review Part B of Pitt County Board of Education Policy 2310 and additional rules related to public expression which are available on the form.
