Public Hearing (Proposed Policy Updates re: Parents' Bill of Rights )

The Pitt County Board of Education will conduct a Public Hearing on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. at the Kathy Taft Center (2010 Allen Road, Greenville, NC 27834).

The purpose of the Public Hearing is to obtain feedback regarding proposed updates to existing Pitt County Board of Education policies to bring those into alignment with Session Law 2023-106 (a.k.a. the Parents’ Bill of Rights).

The public may review the proposed updates prior to the public hearing. The public is invited to attend or view the Public Hearing via the livestream link. Members of the public who cannot attend the hearing in person may submit comments via a Google form until 12 p.m. on November 3, 2023.
