• 2018-2019 Free & Reduced-Price Meal Applications will NOT be mailed to households this year.

     School Lunch

    The 2018-2019 Free and Reduced-Price Meal applications will be available August 1st.  Pitt County Schools students receiving SNAP (formerly food stamps), TANF or FDPIR benefits may have already been Directly Certified.  If you receive a letter stating that your student(s) is approved for free meals you do not need to complete an application.  Households will need to complete an application if you do not receive an approval letter or if all Pitt County students in your household are not listed on your approval letter.


    2018-2019 Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Schools

    Belvoir Elementary, Falkland Elementary, Farmville Central High, Farmville Middle School, Grifton School, H.B. Sugg Elementary, Innovation Early College High School, Lakeforest Elementary, North Pitt High, Northwest Elementary, PCS Early College, Pactolus School, Sadie Saulter School, Sam D. Bundy Elementary, South Greenville Elementary, Wahl Coates Elementary and Wellcome Middle School will be participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2018-2019 school year. 

    Students at these schools will automatically receive free meals at breakfast and lunch. No application is needed for students attending CEP schools and applications will not be sent home with your child attending a CEP school.  However, if you have children attending a school other than the CEP schools listed above please complete an application for those students.  Students attending a CEP school must be listed as family members in Part I on these applications with their school, birth date, grade and income or no income listed. They have to be included as part of your household.


    All other households wishing to apply for free or reduced price meal benefits will need to complete an application.


     Here’s how you can get your application form:


    • Come to the Child Nutrition office (Room A304) located at 1717 West Fifth Street, Greenville, NC and pick up or complete the application on the spot.

    • Attend Open House night on August 23, 2018 and pick-up an application from the cafeteria manager at your child’s school.


      As a reminder, your household only needs to complete 1 application that includes all students.
