Free & Reduced-Price Meals for 2025–26

• Most PCS schools participate in CEP, so students get free breakfast and lunch automatically — no application needed.

• D.H. Conley High School is not part of CEP; families must complete a Free & Reduced-Price Meal Application if needed.

• Applications will not be mailed this year but are available online and at schools.

• If you’ve received an approval letter for your student(s), you don’t need to apply.

CEP & Free and Reduced Meal Application Update – 2025-26 School Year

Important Notice for D.H. Conley High School Families:

D.H. Conley High School is the only Pitt County Schools site not participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2025–26 school year. At all other PCS schools, students automatically receive free breakfast and lunch through CEP, with no application required.

What this means for DHC students:
If your student attends D.H. Conley and may qualify for free or reduced-price meals, a Free and Reduced Meal Application must be completed for the 2025–26 school year.

• Applications will be available to download and print from our website in August.

• Hard copies will also be available at the school prior to the first day of classes.

➡️ Good news: DHC students will not be required to pay a meal copay again this school year—the district will cover this cost.

All other households wishing to apply for free or reduced-priced meal benefits will need to complete an application. As a reminder, your household only needs to complete 1 application that includes all students.
